  • What areas do you service?
    Sparking Joy Party is based out of Englewood, CO, and proudly serves the Denver and surrounding areas. While our main focus is on local services, we also offer Balloon Kits for shipping nationwide, bringing the joy of balloons to your doorstep wherever you are!
  • Do you travel outside your local area?
    Yes, we're excited to bring the party to you anywhere! While our home base is in Englewood, CO, we're more than happy to travel to your location. Please note that additional fees will apply for services outside our local area. Contact us for more information on bringing Sparking Joy Party to your event, no matter where you are!
  • What are your pricing options for balloon garlands?
    We offer a range of garlands to suit your needs: Basic Garland: starting at $22 per foot Standard Garland: starting at $25 per foot Premium Garland: starting at $30 per foot Please note that additional costs may be added based on the design, complexity, length, and any additional add-ons items. For a custom quote tailored to your needs, please contact us.
  • Is there a delivery and installation fee?
    Yes, there is! Delivery and installation fees are calculated on top of your order. Our installation fee ranges from 15% to 20% of the subtotal, depending on the scope of the installation. For delivery, we have a minimum fee of $35 with an additional charge of $4 per mile from Englewood, Colorado (zipcode 80110), to your location one way.   • Is there an order minimum?
    There is an order minimum for garlands, which starts at $22 per foot with a minimum order of 4 feet (totaling $88). However, there is no order minimum for helium bunches.
  • How long does a custom install take?
    Installation time varies depending on the complexity of the design and setup. We do as much preparation as possible to reduce installation time, and in some cases, installations can be completed in as little as an hour. The exact time will be determined based on the specifics of your event and the installation requirements. Rest assured, we strive to complete the installation efficiently while ensuring that every detail is perfect for your celebration.
  • How do you install balloon garlands?
    We typically use existing anchor points at the venue, such as hooks or fixtures, to secure the garland. If existing anchor points are not available, we use removable 3M Command Hooks. For your convenience, here is a video on how to properly remove 3M Command Hooks. Additionally, we offer free-standing garlands and backdrop designs, which eliminate the need to attach to anchor points. This provides flexibility in placement and allows for easy setup and removal.
  • When should I book?
    Our custom handmade creations require careful design and crafting, which is why we recommend booking as soon as possible, ideally at least 14 days in advance. This allows us to secure a date for your event and ensure that we have enough time to create your custom pieces. If you would like to reserve dates in advance, you can do so by putting down a $175 deposit.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your booking, please notify us at least 14 days prior to your event date. Cancellations made less than 14 days before your event date may be eligible for a partial refund, and the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date are non-refundable and non-reschedulable. We appreciate your understanding.
  • If my event is less than a week away, can I still make a custom order?
    Yes! We will try our best to accommodate last-minute orders, depending on availability. Please note that balloon choices and themes may be limited by what we have in stock at the time. The order total will be due at the time of booking, and there may be a rush fee. However, we'll do our utmost to make your event as special as possible, even on short notice! Contact us directly to discuss your options.
  • Can I pick up my order?
    Unfortunately, we do not have a retail front yet, so we are unable to accommodate order pickups at this time. However, we offer delivery services to bring the party directly to your location! If you have any specific delivery requests or questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
  • What balloons do you use?
    We use high-quality, professional-grade latex and foil balloons. Latex balloons are 100% biodegradable and natural, making them an eco-friendly choice. Mylar balloons are reusable, allowing you to enjoy them long after your event. At Sparking Joy Party, we advocate smart balloon practices and encourage proper disposal to minimize environmental impact.
  • Where do you get your balloons?
    We proudly source our professional-grade balloons, made right here in the USA! In some cases, due to supply considerations, we also look to Colombia, Mexico and Italy for our exceptional balloons. This ensures that we always have the best quality balloons for your needs.
  • How long do your balloons last?
    We use only professional-grade, highest quality materials for our balloons. However, it's important to note that some balloons may pop or deflate sooner than anticipated. Environmental factors, such as heat, sunlight, and humidity, can also affect the life of the balloons. Our garlands can last for weeks if kept away from heat, sunlight, and humidity, but we cannot provide guarantees. Similarly, helium balloons can last for days under optimal conditions, but there are no guarantees. Balloons used outdoors are not guaranteed to last for any specific length of time.
  • Do you replace popped balloons?
    We understand that accidents can happen, and we strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers. While we do replace popped balloons during setup or in transit, we do not replace popped balloons once the installation is finalized or delivered. If you have any concerns about popped balloons during your event, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, and we'll do our best to assist you. Please note that we inflate foil balloons 24 hours in advance to ensure no leakage and inflate latex balloons a minimum of 2 hours before the event to ensure quality.
